Following five volumes of b-sides and outtakes, this set is a collection of instrumentals, recorded during sessions for various projects. Some of these were originally conceived as instrumentals while some were songs that have been waiting for lyrical inspiration that has yet to come. Many of these tracks are rough but they are pretty cool. "Blueberry Jam" is the only recording (to date) that features me and my dad playing together, while the "Totcho Jam" (conceived and recorded while I was making totchos, and the only track on this set to feature vocals of any kind) ended up serving as the basis for "Go Down Swingin'". While I considered padding out this release with other instrumentals that have appeared on other projects, I figure this set runs long enough, and plays well on its own, so all of these tracks are previously unreleased and have been heard by no one until now. With hundreds of instrumental sketches in the archive, one of my plans is to bring several to life, for a future album project, Until then, this set will serve well.

Also, the release of this set marks the last of my fully-produced tracks. Aside from songs that are earmarked for specific future projects, and early/alternate mixes of various material, there is no more backlog. The barrel has been officially scraped. Time to start fresh in 2020. Can't wait to see how that plays out....
